It was a very successful trial for many Fundoggers! Our Intro students especially did very well. Abby, Piper, and Lola in particular all brought their A-game and ran very well for their handlers. Rebel had his first outdoor trial and handled it like a champ! He stayed with his handler and demonstrated good control despite the distractions. Some of our more experienced dogs also did very well. Sizzle went 8/8 on Sunday making it his first perfect day! We also appreciate our “comedic relief” dogs. Holly was showing off her acrobatic skills by doing a head stand off the dog walk! Runner up was Cooper who walked straight into the side of the dog walk. It was his very first NADAC trial though, and when he wasn’t trying to be a comedian, he handled the trial very nicely! We do thank these two comedians for drawing the attention away from Mystic though, our resident class clown who was her usual silly self over the weekend.
A special congratulations goes out to our instructors, Cheryl and Mary Ann and their dynamic duo, Magick and Maxy. Over the weekend, you could really see the relationship built over a lifetime of working together for these teams. Magick accomplished the final goal of her career at 13 years: 7500 lifetime points, along with a few other Into titles. Maxy earned his V-NATCH 2 and his Superior in Elite Weavers, which also earned him his Elite Superior Versatility!
Titles Earned:
- Piper received her Intro Weavers, Intro Barrelers, Intro Tunnelers, and Intro Touch N Go titles
- Lola received her Intro Barrelers, Intro Tunnelers, and Intro Touch N Go titles
- Aura received her Intro Tunnelers, Intro Hoopers, and Outstanding Intro Touch N Go titles
- Link received his Novice Weavers title
- Sizzle received his Open Hoopers and Elite Weavers title
- Maxy received his V-Natch-2, Superior Elite Weavers, and Superior Versatility Titles
- Magick received her 7500 lifetime points, Outstanding Intro Tunnelers, Outstanding Intro Touch N Go, Outstanding Intro Barrelers, Outstanding Intro Hoopers, and Superior Intro Weavers
Congrats again to everyone on their accomplishments!
If I missed anybody, please let either Cheryl or I know and I will edit in your accomplishments. We want to make sure all the Fundog students are recognized for their hard work!
